At the Marcel Bernheim Gallery, located in the Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, the exhibition of Venezuelan painter Luis Alvarez de Lugo has opened with great brilliance. The exhibition, consisting of nearly thirty paintings, was opened to the public in the presence of the Counselor of the Delegation to UNESCO, the poet Rafael Ángel Insausti, as well as prominent members of the Venezuelan community and the Parisian art world.

The painter of endearingly Venezuelan landscapes, Luis Alvarez de Lugo, will present a major exhibition of more than forty works this Sunday at the Galería Sans Souci, in which we appreciate the evolution of this magnificent interpreter of "lo criollo" (traditional Venezuelan culture). In the graphic, we appreciate one of his oil paintings titled SED (Thirst), which is a cozy corner of the Hacienda La Guadalupe near Ocumare del Tuy. A beautiful canvas where the afternoon light is reflected in the eclogic landscape.

Mr. Alvarez de Lugo’s exhibition “is an index of his dedication to painting... his canvases are full of honesty and joy and his techniques insinuate his tremendous esthetic qualities
