“ARMANDO REVERÓN” HALL TO BE INAUGURATED IN SPECIAL CEREMONY
CARACAS. (Innac). — With a special ceremony, the “Armando Reverón” Hall will be declared inaugurated this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. It is located in La Florida, next to the Church of Chiquinquirá.
The inaugural exhibition, according to the catalog, offers a display of 21 oil paintings, representing the collective participation of 11 painters, among whom some figures highly acclaimed by critics should be noted.
The painters participating in the sample announced for Saturday are Marcos Castillo, Jorge Gori, Tomás Golding, Isa de Wries, Dany Maris, Ricardo Gobel, Silva Méndez, Roja Martínez, Alvarez de Lugo, Señora de Lasser, and Gragirena de Salima.
The creation of the “Reverón Hall,” independently of the healthy influence it will exert on the national plastic arts movement, constitutes a gesture that will contribute to preserving the memory of the illustrious solitary of Macuto and, furthermore, is in itself a defense of the national artistic heritage.
The initiative to found this Hall, which from now on opens its doors to all visual artists, is thanks to Mr. Adriano Serradimigne, who for some time has been working for painting in Venezuela.
For now, the Hall has created the Inaugural Prize, which consists of a Diploma of Honor that, according to the verdict of the Qualification Jury, will be granted to one of the painters participating in the exhibition. Later, as the functioning of the Hall evolves, other prizes will be created.

SALA “ARMANDO REVERON” SERA INAUGURADA EN ACTO ESPECIAL
CARACAS. (Innac). — Con un acto especial se declarará inaugurada el sábado a las 7 de la noche la Sala “Armando Reverón”, en La Florida, al lado de la Iglesia de la Chiquinquirá.
La exposición inaugural, según el catálogo, ofrece un montaje de 21 óleos, que representan la participación colectiva de 11 pintores entre los cuales hay que llamar la atención sobre algunos consagrados por la crítica.
Los pintores que concurren a la muestra anunciada para el sábado son Marcos Castillo, Jorge Gori, Tomás Golding, Isa de Wries, Dany Maris, Ricardo Gobel, Silva Méndez, Roja Martínez, Alvarez de Lugo, señora de Lasser y Gragirena de Salima.
La creación de la “Sala Reverón”, independientemente de la influencia saludable que ejercerá en el movimiento plástico nacional, constituye un gesto que contribuirá a guardar la memoria del ilustre solitario de Macuto y, además, es, en sí misma, una defensa del patrimonio artístico nacional.
La iniciativa de fundar esta Sala que, desde ahora, abre sus puertas a todos los artistas plásticos, se debe al señor Adriano Serradimigne, quien hace tiempo viene trabajando por la pintura en Venezuela.
Por ahora la Sala ha creado el Premio Inaugural que consiste en un Diploma de Honor que, conforme al veredicto del Jurado de Calificación será concedido a uno de los pintores que están participando en la exhibición. Más tarde, según vaya evolucionando el funcionamiento de la Sala, se crearán otros premios.
